As of October 2021 we have a great position as a Service manager available for a residential tower in The Hague. It concerns every Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 11:00. This residential tower has 38 homes that are rented out for short-stay. Residents stay here on average between 3 and 6 months.

As a Service manager you are the main point of contact for residents, suppliers and our client. You are easily approachable and a real initiator. Providing service, switching quickly and working in a solution-oriented way is what makes you unique. In addition to being service-oriented, as a Service manager you are also a guardian of agreements, standards and values ​​in the building. You check the cleaning of the general areas and of the houses as soon as they are rented out again. Is something broken in the common areas? Then you make sure it gets fixed.

What does a Service manager do?

- Welcoming tenants and visitors with a ‘warm welcome’ and providing them with coffee/tea/water;
- Identifying needs and questions from tenants and responding to them with a suitable solution;
- Act as the first point of contact in case of defects, malfunctions or other problems;
- Proactively identifying defects, bottlenecks, etc., in and around the building and passing them on to the supplier, technical management or client;
- Referring defects, malfunctions or problems to suppliers or others;
- Inform the tenants about general practical matters, such as glass cleaning and house rules;
- Supervision and control of execution by third parties (repairs);
- Supervising the proper execution of the cleaning work, window cleaning and other services by third parties;
- Periodically inspect the general areas, common areas and immediate surroundings of the building;
- Keeping track of planning and communicating with all involved;
- Communicate and maintain an overview of the change of apartments and new tenants;
- Overview and keeping of the online logbook, mutations, dry cleaning and mailbox overview;
- Keeping track of stocks and ordering;
- Key management of the common areas and other important locks;
- Controlling role for keeping the central entrance and common areas safe and orderly. For example, corridors, elevators, stairwells, entrances and immediate surroundings of the building;
- Ensure that smoking is not allowed within the tower and the garage and address it if necessary;
- Responsible for the timely emptying of the paper/cardboard and residual waste containers;
- Accepting packages and, if desired, delivery to tenants;
- Keeping an overview of the mail;
- Good command of Dutch and English language;
